Sioux Falls is Hot: Featured on CNN

Mayor Mike Huether says CNN's Sunday program titled "Where America Works" did an awesome job of telling the story of Sioux Falls.

"It is positive news at the highest possible level," Mayor Huether told reporters at City Hall during a Monday news conference. "Not only are we sharing the news with people in the Midwest---now we're sharing it with people in the United States.  And---oh my gosh---we're now selling the Sioux Falls success across the globe!  That's just phenomenal to me."

Mayor Huether says the CNN program is a shining example of what Sioux Falls is all about.

"We are going to work with CNN to see how much we can utilize this video, this story line about our great city.  Of course, we're going to use to at the highest level.  That will determine the road map in terms of where we go next."

Sioux Falls was the second of five cities profiled on the CNN episode that aired on Sunday.
