Around 3:00 PM Thursday authorities with the Sioux Falls Police and Fire Departments were called to the 1400 block of East Sixth Street following a report of a structural collapse.

According to a report from KSFY TV, there was no one was inside the home at the time of the collapse.

The emergency units investigating the scene indicated the collapse was due to an explosion. The walls of the home were blown out but the roof remains intact. Officials said a cause is not known.

KSFY TV also states that two other homes adjacent to the collapsed home also appear to be impacted in the incident as well.
