An early morning party on Saturday in the Southwest part of Sioux Falls got way out of hand, resulting in a fight and gunshots being fired.

KDLT News is reporting the Minnehaha County Sheriff’s Office was called to the scene of a possible gunshot incident around 2:30 AM on Saturday (July 1) near West 41st Street and South Klein Avenue.

When authorities arrived, they found a possible victim lying on the ground. After further investigation, the individual had not been shot, but, was involved in some form of physical altercation.

Minnehaha County Deputies told KDLT News, it appears no one was injured by the gunshots fired during the incident. Authorities didn't make any arrests, nor have they located a suspect at this time.

An investigation into the gunshots is still underway.
