A heavy fire damaged a Sioux Falls home located at 1116 East 6th Street early Saturday morning.

KDLT News is reporting, crews from Sioux Falls Fire Rescue responded to the call around 2:30 AM on Saturday (July 22). When they arrived on scene, fire crews found the front of the structure fully engulfed in flames.

Crews had the blaze contained in just under 15 minutes. Fortunately, the home was vacant at the time, and no one was hurt in the process of extinguishing the fire according to the KDLT News report.

The cause of the blaze is currently under investigation by Sioux Falls Fire Rescue.
