Park-and-Ride Options Available for Premier Center This Week
The Denny Sanford PREMIER Center is going to be a busy place this week, which is great for entertainment options, not so great for finding a parking spot.
With that in mind, the PREMIER Center is providing additional parking options for people planning to attend the El Riad Shrine Circus, at the Sioux Falls Arena, and Florida Georgia Line concert, at the PREMIER Center, Thursday (April 21) and for circus-goers and those attending the Def Leppard/Poison/Tesla concert, Saturday (April 22).
A free park-and-ride shuttle service will begin at 5:00 PM, Thursday and Saturday only, and run until 11:30 PM. You can board those shuttles at the north parking lot of the W.H. Lyon Fairgrounds.
You do have a third option for parking. Free parking is available at McCart Fields, a few blocks south of the PREMIER Center on Western Avenue, as well as on the streets south and east of the facility.
Because of the large crowns Thursday and Saturday, officials advise arriving early at the arena and event center to avoid long lines at the entrances. Doors open at 6:00 PM each night for the circus, and 5:30 PM for each concert.
