Lucy Hale broke her silence over the private photos that were stolen from her phone and leaked online.

On Thursday, December 22, the Pretty Little Liars star spoke out about the unfortunate hacking on Twitter, writing, "Once again, a woman in the public eye was violated, stolen from and her private life and body were exposed for anyone to see. I will not apologize for living my life and having a personal life that is all mine. It's truly unfortunate that being exposed in this way is allowed."

In the statement, the actress also expressed gratitude for supportive fans as well as shared a colorful message for the person or people behind the invasive leak.

"Thank you for all the sweet, supportive messages I've been receiving. It was a much needed reminder that I’m surrounded by so much love," she wrote. "I appreciate you all very much. And to whoever did this… kiss my a--."

Marty Singer, Hale's lawyer, is currently pursuing legal action against exploitative web site Celeb Jihad, which published photos stolen from the actress's phone, including a handful of purported topless shots.
