New List Suggests Iowa Is The Worst State In America

As an Iowan I already disagree with this list before even seeing it. I love the state I live in. After watching said video however I can agree that there is some issues here. Though I'd argue we are nowhere near the worst...

A recent video came out naming 12 things that make Iowa the worst state. The creator did ad a disclaimer though.

The List Of Iowa's Worst

Let's look at the top 5reasons.

Honorable mention: The State Fair. The creator claims that since this is the biggest event of the year it proves there is nothing to do. Clearly he has never tried our fried food on a stick

1. Income. The creator points out that Iowa's household income is below the national average.
2. Lack of Diversity. He's got us there, we do rank 46th for diversity according to recent studies.
3. Uninspiring landscapes. Another one he's got us on, yes we are flat and boring, BUT I think we have some beautiful hiking spots.
4. Bad Nightlife. This one I Disagree with for some areas, but I currently live in Davenport and the "night life" is rough for sure.
5. Iowa Primaries. This one was a bit of a joke, it's great that we are an important spot in the primaries, buuuut the political ads get very old.
