Illinois House Goes Viral For Elaborate Taylor Swift-Inspired Christmas Lights [PICS]
It makes the whole neighborhood shimmer.
Taylor Swift's groundbreaking Eras Tour is nearing completion but a family in Naperville is only getting started.
USA Today says that the Scott family started plotting back in October what they were going to do for their T-Swift-inspired Christmas display this year. Taylor has many iconic 'eras' but they decided to focus on "Folklore", "Reputation", and "The Tortured Poets Department".
So, they put a little "Folklore" cottage in their design, a huge typewriter for "The Tortured Poets Department", and a 'Look What You Made Me Do' glass display case.
The message of the display this year is written above Taylor's image: "Spread love and joy this holiday season".
They're Swifties From Years Past
The Scotts also went viral in 2023. Google Maps even changed their location to be the "Swiftmas House", but last year, they included elements from "Red," "Speak Now," "1989" and "Evermore".
One of the Scotts' daughters, Emily, hopes Taylor herself sees their display, telling the outlet:
I would hope that she would be in awe and love that we're doing this
Brian Scott joked they would've put more time into the display if he had known how widely seen it would become:
We didn't know the whole world was gonna see it. People would come and stay for hours and sing songs. There was a lot of camaraderie and the passing of friendship bracelets. That's really what we want.
It's holidays, T-Swift style. Scroll down to see the incredible Taylor Swift-inspired Christmas lights!
