Some people might be complaining about our early winter with cold and snow.  But if you are someone who loves to make the best of all four of our seasons here in Minnesota, let's embrace the elements.

This time, since it did snow so early, and actually a significant amount, the local ski slopes are able to open.  This, with not having to make any snow, or just making enough to enhance what is already there compliments of Mother Nature.

WHEN IS POWDER RIDGE PLANNING TO OPEN

Tomorrow, Thursday December 4th, Powder Ridge in Kimball is set to open.  If you check their website, they show that they are planning to open tomorrow by 3pm.  They are in the process of making more snow so that the hills are ready for skiing, snowboarding and tubing.

Thursday (12/4) – 3PM-9PM
Friday (12/5)
 – 10AM-9PM
Saturday (12/6) – 9:30AM-9PM
Sunday (12/7) – 9:30AM-9PM

If you want to see what they have to offer, you can check the details for Ski and Ride, the Super Pass punch card, see what the details are for snow tubing and also purchase a season pass.  This year might be absolutely worth it with lots of opportunities to use a season pass.

YOU CAN BOOK YOUR WEDDING AND/OR RECEPTION AT POWDER RIDGE

If you are thinking about booking a special event such as a wedding and reception next year or in 2027, think about Powder Ridge, they are booking for those events now.

ALWAYS CHECK THE SNOW REPORT

When you are planning a day or weekend out at Powder Ridge, you can always check their snow report right on their website.  That's handy.
