Elk River Hero Needs Help After Crash
A man who cares deeply about helping people in his community has been seriously injured in a motorcycle accident that happened Friday, May 9th, 2025.
Chris founded Hoodlum Nonprofit, an organization created to provide support and resources to people who need help when life gets too hard. The organization was created to help people get back on their feet and get the help they need to start over.
CHRIS WOULD GIVE YOU THE SHIRT OFF HIS BACK
According to GoFundMe, "If someone was in need, Chris would be the first to step up. He would literally give the shirt off his back or his last dollar to make sure someone else was okay. That's just the kind of person he is."
Chris now has a long road of recovery ahead of him. 47-year-old Chris Grabrick of Elk River was heading into Elk River around 8 pm when the accident happened. No one knows exactly what caused the accident, but Chris was rushed to the hospital with serious injuries.

A GOFUNDME PAGE TO AID WITH BILLS AND MEDICAL EXPENSES
Chris has been sedated to aid in his recovery, but has sustained serious injuries, including a brain bleed, and has a large hematoma on his forehead. Chris has a cracked skull, a broken ankle, and as you can imagine, serious scrapes and bruises all over his legs and back.
CHRIS'S FAMILY HOPES YOU CAN HELP
Chris is a father of three kids, and the family has a GoFundMe page set up.
Chris and his family are facing major medical bills and financial strain of recovery that they are saying is 'overwhelming,' and they are asking for help from the community.

Without being able to work and pay his bills, the family is hoping that the community will come together and help in any way that they can.
They ask that if you are unable to give financially, if you could share the GoFundMe page with your friends and family, and to keep Chris in your thoughts and prayers.
