
Steve Miller Band Added to Lineup at Minnesota State Fair
Even though we're only rolling into spring this week, it's never too early to start dreaming about warm summer nights.
And the latest announcement from the Minnesota State Fair is giving classic rock fans something to look forward to when the weather heats up.
The Steve Miller Band will be playing the grandstand in St. Paul, Thursday, August 28 at 7:00 pm.
Tickets range from $54–$121 and go on sale Friday (March 21) at 10:00 AM.
The Steve Miller Blues Band began in San Francisco in 1966. Shortly after, the word blues was dropped from the band's name at the suggestion legendary producer George Martin.

Over the next 45 years, the band released 18 studio albums, selling 24 million copies in the in United States. Four of those albums landed in the Top Five on the Billboard chart.
Steve Miller has also put nine sings in the Top 40, including a trio of chart-toppers ('The Joker' - 1973, 'Rock'n Me' - 1976, 'Abracadabra' - 1982).
In 2016, Steve Miller was inducted as a solo artist into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
