The new "Woo At the Zoo" event at the Great Plains Zoo in Sioux Falls on Saturday, February 11, at 6 PM, isn't just about romance. Well, okay, it kind of is, but we're mostly talking animal romance here.

Along with the delightful wine and appetizers, prepare yourself for an eye-opening education " about all things related to mating, dating, and copulating in the animal world".

According to Sioux Falls Simplified, Conservation Director Stephanie Arne said,

The Woo At the Zoo event aims to educate people about those more "adult" aspects of the animal kingdom in a comfortable, humorous environment where they can learn everything from how various body parts work to why animals behave certain ways.

Arne indicates it is another interesting way to connect to the natural world.

Limited tickets are available in advance at $35, and include appetizers & a non-alcoholic beverage. Beer and wine will be available for purchase. All guests must be 18 and older.

You'll get to mingle with people and some animal "ambassadors" while learning more about animal interaction and romance.

All proceeds benefit conservation programs at the Great Plains Zoo & Delbridge Museum of Natural History.

So if you're looking for a fun (& kind of naughty) Valentine's Day weekend outing get your tickets to Woo at the Zoo now.
