Winter Storm Watch Coming For Parts Of South Dakota
It looks like it could be the first big winter storm this winter for portions of South Dakota.
The National Weather Service has issued a WINTER STORM WATCH for portions of western South Dakota.
This Winter Storm Watch is in effect from Tuesday morning through Wednesday morning.
The watch includes Deadwood, Hill City, Custer, and portions west of the South Dakota / Wyoming border.
What to Expect:
- Heavy snowfall is possible, especially in areas 4,500 feet and above
- Potential accumulation of 6+ inches
- Timing: Tuesday morning through Wednesday morning
