
Over 80 New Sculptures Added to ‘SculptureWalk Sioux Falls’
Some of the streets in the downtown district of Sioux Falls are going to look a little different the next time you visit.
Over the weekend, the city finished installing over 80 new sculptures in the SculptureWalk Sioux Falls.
2025 marks the 22nd year SculptureWalk Sioux Falls has existed, and since that time, the world's largest public exhibit of sculptures has developed quite a reputation. So much so that it has attracted sculptors from all over the world to submit their work for consideration.

Word about SculptureWalk Sioux Falls is circulating throughout the artisan community.
Sculptor Gedion Nyanthongo, told Dakota News Now, I wanted to be part of this family. So I looked it up, and I felt so happy about how this city, how the whole arrangement was done to create a platform for artists to be able to show their artwork and share it with the world."
As SculptureWalk Board Chair, Andrew Eitreim told Dakota News Now, “This annual outdoor gallery is more than an art display, it’s a celebration of imagination, community, and connection."
The city began installing all of the new 2025 lineup of sculptures in downtown on Friday, (May 2). Work on the installation of all 80 pieces of art was completed by the end of the day on Saturday, (May 3).

According to Dakota News Now, since SculptureWalk Sioux Falls first started in 2003, the city of Sioux Falls has showcased over 1,200 different original sculptures from some highly talented artisans on select streets throughout the downtown region of Sioux Falls.
