
Sioux Falls Police Investigate Shooting In Southeast Neighborhood
Sioux Falls Police are investigating a shooting that left one man injured Monday evening in southeast Sioux Falls.
According to Sioux Falls Public Information Officer Sam Clemens, the incident occurred around 6:20 p.m. on May 5 outside an apartment complex in the 5900 block of South Graystone Avenue, near 69th Street and Sycamore Avenue.
Investigators believe the shooting happened in the parking lot of the apartment complex.
The victim, who sustained a gunshot wound to the leg, went to a local hospital, where police were subsequently notified about the incident.
Details regarding potential suspects or the circumstances leading to the shooting have not yet been released.
