Sioux Falls Police Department Looking for A Blue Line Boost

The Sioux Falls Police Department is looking for more good people and they've teamed up with a marketing group to find them.

Dakota News Now is reporting that the Sioux Falls Police Department and local company Epicosity have gotten together to recruit more officers. The marketing campaign will showcase working officers here in Sioux Falls who have found success and satisfaction in their jobs.

Fourteen officers will be highlighted on billboards and in online ads through the end of this year.

Chief John Thum said:

“The campaign message really encourages viewers to answer the call, finding pride and purpose in serving the community in what we think is one of the most unique careers out there. The career of a lifetime of being a law enforcement officer.”
