If you've been wishing Sioux Falls had a place where you could socialize with family and friends, in an alcohol free environment, your wish has finally been granted.

The Sioux Empire's first non-alcoholic social club just opened in October east of downtown. It's called "Good Natured," and it's located at 921 East 8th Street, between Indiana and Fairfax streets.

Good Natured: Sioux Falls' First Non-alcoholic Social Club

Good Natured is the ideal place for the person looking for a nightclub setting, free of alcohol where people can connect, unwind, and have fun enjoying the things you would normally do in a typical bar/nightclub setting.

Owner Shannon Ward told Dakota News Now, Good Natured has a variety on non-alcoholic beverages, sodas, bottle waters, and energy drinks to enjoy, along with snack foods, pizza, games, live music, a silent disco, and various other classes and events for people to try.

What's a silent disco you ask?

Picture yourself being on the dance floor of a nightclub where everyone is wearing headphones, listening to dance music being broadcast via a radio transmitter. You are still shaking your booty to all your favorite dance jams, while those around you sitting at tables are still able to converse without having to scream over loud music blaring out of nightclub speakers. That's a silent disco.

This new booze-free social space has plenty of added health benefits too for those trying to stay in shape and avoid some of the adverse effects alcohol consumption has on the human body.

Good Natured is open to the public every Wednesday and Thursday from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Friday from 2:00 to 10:00 PM, and Saturday from noon till 10:00 PM.
