Car vandals had a banner weekend in Sioux Falls. Between Saturday and Sunday morning, 33 residents had their car windows broken out, with the majority of the victims being apartment dwellers on the city's westside.

Dakota News Now reports that the first four cases of car vandalism occurred early Saturday morning (January 4) in the 300 block of North Holly Avenue.

Vandals were back in action again during the early morning hours of Sunday, (January 5), this time targeting 17 vehicles in the 2300 block of South Ellis Road. In each case, the cars had windows broken out.

Just like in the previous cases, car windows were broken out, but no valuables were stolen from any of the vehicles. As of right now, all the cases appear to be simple acts of senseless vandalism.

Sioux Falls Public Information Officer Sam Clemens told Dakota News Now, that he wouldn't be surprised if even more cases of vandalism come trickling in over the next few days.

According to Dakota News Now, people in the area affected on Saturday morning did report seeing suspicious activity around 5 AM, but as of right now, police have no leads on any suspects.

Authorities are asking for the public's help in solving these cases. Should you or anyone you know have information that can aid police in their search for these vandals, you're asked to please call the Sioux Falls Police or anonymously report information to Crime Stoppers at (877) 367-7007.

People Say They Hate These 7 Things About Sioux Falls the Most

In the last few years, I've had the opportunity to live in another state after living in Sioux Falls for a decade. Then late last year I moved back to the SooFoo, and I am super happy to have returned.

Sioux Falls has just about everything I like. It's big enough to have lots of opportunities for work and recreation. But, it's also not so big that I feel lost in an urban wasteland.

Being on the western edge of the 'Midwest' and the eastern edge of the 'Western Frontier' we've got a nice balance of the individualistic pioneer spirit and a strong 'We're in this together' attitude.

But, of course, not everything is perfect. People have complaints. On the social network Reddit, people have even listed their complaints about Sioux Falls. Specifically, the things that hate about living here.
