It's out with the old and in with the new this weekend in downtown Sioux Falls.

The 22nd annual SculptureWalk Sioux Falls exhibits will begin being installed this weekend throughout downtown Sioux Falls and along North Duluth Avenue between 10th and 6th Streets.

All of the 2024 sculptures will be removed over the weekend and replaced with an entirely new crop of stunning-looking sculptures for 2025.

Dakota News Now reports that once completed, there will be a total of 70 new pieces of beautiful, unique sculptures lining the streets in the downtown region of the city.

Believe it or not, SculptureWalk Sioux Falls is the largest annual exhibit of public sculptures in the world!

Andrew Eitreim, SculptureWalk Board Chair, told Dakota News Now, “This annual outdoor gallery is more than an art display, it’s a celebration of imagination, community, and connection. We’re proud to continue making world-class art accessible to all. Each sculpture invites us to see our city through a new lens.”

Those familiar with SculptureWalk Sioux Falls know that many of the sculptures on display each year are available to purchase upon the completion of their display cycle.

Several sculptures from years past have been purchased by the city of Sioux Falls itself, and by various residents of the Sioux Empire. Many of these older sculptures can be seen scattered throughout various regions of the city.

According to Dakota News Now, since the SculptureWalk got underway in 2003, the city of Sioux Falls has installed almost 1,200 pieces of art. Over 220 pieces have been sold during that time period.
