The 15-year-old was allegedly making terroristic threats and had a weapon outside of Axtell Park Middle School at 201 West Ave.
On Wednesday afternoon Sioux Falls Police received a call that a person was outside Axtell Park school with a weapon.
Police arrived and found the individual who was taken into custody for having a weapon on school grounds and making terroristic threats.
The individual's name is Davion Bridges. He was described as a black man, 5 foot 8 inches tall, weighing about 110 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes, wearing blue jeans and a black hooded sweatshirt.
Bridges was taken to a juvenile facility where he escaped.
