Motorcycle Accident Kills Man In East Sioux Falls

A tragic motorcycle accident occurred Sunday evening in Sioux Falls, resulting in one fatality.

According to Dakota News Now emergency responders were dispatched to the intersection of East 57th Street and South Glenview Road at approximately 5:40 p.m.

Upon arrival, they discovered a critically injured man lying near the roadway alongside a motorcycle.

Despite emergency efforts, the man succumbed to his injuries at the scene.

Investigators determined that the motorcycle crashed in the eastbound lanes of East 57th Street between South Glenview Road and South Ash Grove Avenue.

Traffic was temporarily diverted while officials, including the department's UAS (drone) team, conducted a thorough investigation of the accident site.

Authorities have not yet released the identity of the deceased.
