Effective: Wednesday, 1 AM to 1 PM CDT
Areas Affected Includes portions of southwest Minnesota and southeast South Dakota.
What to Expect:
- Snow accumulations of 2-4 inches with isolated higher amounts possible
- Wind gusts up to 50 mph causing blowing and drifting snow
- Significantly reduced visibility at times

Counties Affected Include: Lyon, Osceola, Dickinson, Sioux, O'Brien, Clay, Plymouth, Cherokee, Buena Vista, Woodbury, Ida, Cottonwood, Nobles, Jackson, Dixon, Dakota, Clay, Union
What to Expect:
- Blizzard conditions with snow accumulations of 4-9 inches
- Isolated areas may receive up to 12 inches
- Wind gusts up to 60 mph
Impacts:
- Travel may be very difficult to impossible
- Widespread blowing snow, significantly reducing visibility
- Wednesday morning and evening commutes will be affected
- Possible tree damage from strong winds
