Some people are very particular about their coffee. Just ask them! Some have a passion for dark roast, others a light roast, even others talk about the absolute virtues of always going with a medium roast. But what does all this mean?

South Dakota's best coffee roaster is right here in Sioux Falls and is well-known to java lovers in this area. Coffea Roasterie was given high praise for traveling to the coffee companies they do business with and also what they do with the product they bring home.

Minnesota's top coffee roaster can be found in Minneapolis. Dogwood Coffee has been around for about 15 years doing some top-notch work that still feels "fresh" according to Food & Wine.

Finally, in Ames, Iowa you will find Windmill Coffee which earned the top coffee roaster designation for our neighbor to the south and east.
