
Sioux Falls City Pools Are Open And Ready For Summer Fun
It's June, the temps are already in the 90s, and I'm guessing you're probably starting to look for a place to cool off.
Lucky for you, all of the Sioux Falls aquatic facilities are open again for the summer months.
Dive on in, the water's fine!
The Sioux Falls city pools opened up for the summer of 25 on Friday, May 30th.

Dakota News Now is reporting that all of the city pools are operating under their summer hours right now.
Those hours are Monday through Sunday from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM and again from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM.
Jackie Nelson, City of Sioux Falls Recreation Manager, told Dakota News Now, “It’s great that we have a fun opening weekend. Hopefully, the weather stays strong and good for us this year. But it’s nice to hear the kids and see the enjoyment that everyone is having."

Sioux Falls has a total of 8 outdoor aquatic facilities...
Drake Springs Aquatic Center, Frank Olson Pool, Kuehn Park Pool, McKennan Park Wading Pool, Terrace Park Aquatic Center, Hayward Splash Pad, Laurel Oak Aquatic Center, and the Pioneer Splash Pad.
In addition to the outdoor facilities, the city also operates two indoor aquatic centers...
The Midco facility located on Western Avenue, and the pool inside the Westside Recreation Center, off Tea Ellis Road.
Sioux Falls residents are now able to purchase or renew their swim passes for the 2025 season. There is a variety of different swim pass options available to purchase.
