Popular Sioux Falls Summer Craft Beer and Music Festival Cancelled
Sioux Falls will be down a festival later this summer.
The organizers behind the "605 Summer Classic" have pulled the plug on the 2024 version of the popular outdoor craft beer and music festival held in downtown Sioux Falls.
Dakota News Now is reporting that the organizers of the event made the official announcement regarding the festival's cancellation earlier this week.
Unforeseen circumstances were the reason given for the festival being canceled this summer. According to Dakota News Now the event's organizers will revisit the future of the summer craft beer and music festival at a later date.
In a social media post regarding the cancellation, event organizers thanked the community, vendors, and sponsors for embracing the "605 Summer Classic" these past several years.
The annual event was scheduled to happen on June 29th, at the 8th and Railroad Center, and had it happened, it would have marked the 15th year of the festival in Sioux Falls.
In years past the Summer Festival featured unlimited beer tasting from a variety of South Dakota Breweries, along with live music from many different genres, food trucks, outdoor games, and more.
The event always concluded with a big after-party at a Sioux Falls tavern.
