Legendary Iowa Man Visits All 224 Pizza Ranch Locations
Some in the Sioux Empire said it couldn't be done. But Iowa native Jason Halkias has done the impossible and visited every Pizza Ranch location across the country.
Jason Halkias went on the ultimate journey only pizza and fried chicken lovers can imagine. He has now traveled to all 224 Pizza Ranch locations and concluded his trip on Tuesday, October 29th.
In a previous story, we introduced you to Jason and his love for Pizza Ranch. This unique experience began while Jason was in a previous relationship. Although the relationship did not last, Jason wanted to complete this adventure. Since then, Jason needed to visit 76 locations in Minnesota, North Dakota, Montana, Wyoming, and Colorado. His goal is to complete this epic Pizza Ranch trip by this November. Well...he did!
Jason's last stop was at the Pizza Ranch in Sioux Center, Iowa. Jason shared with me that he picked the Sioux Center eatery because this is where the founder of Pizza Ranch, Adrie Groeneweg, worked at a separate pizza parlor near where the current Sioux Center Pizza Ranch stands today.
Don't be surprised if you see an Iowa man named Jason Halkias visit a new Pizza Ranch in the future! He's only getting started.
Even though I have now finished the initial quest, the overall quest shall carry on, as new locations will open in the future, and I will eventually visit those as well.
