Wisconsin Sam’s Club Stores Implementing Massive Change
Even if you've been following all of the changes that Sam's Club stores have been making lately, you still probably didn't expect this!
According to a new report, Sam's Club is about to make what is perhaps their biggest change to date and some people won't be happy.

One of their most recent changes? The business revealed that new members would no longer get a physical membership card. Instead, they'd have to download it digitally.
This sent many customers spiraling, considering some don't have smart phones. I am old-fashioned, so I don't want another app - I want an actual membership card.

This includes regular checkout lanes and self-checkout lanes. With this 'scan and go' approach, there is a hope that it will make every experience shopping at the stores an easier one.
What Will Shoppers Use Instead Of Checkouts?
After shoppers use their app to 'scan and go' with their items, they can leave the store without showing a receipt at the door like usual. Instead, AI will be used to make sure customers paid for all the purchases they are taking out the door.
