If you've ever had the urge to try something new and exciting, today's the day to throw caution to the wind and follow your dreams. It's National itch Day.

I'm not talking about the kind of itch that you physically scratch, but rather something that you've been "itching" to do.

In this day-in-age we call it a "bucket list", thanks to the movie by the same name starring Morgan Freeman and Jack Nicholson.

So what's on your bucket list? If you don't have one, you really do need to put one together. I did one shortly after the movie came out and I've been crossing things off ever since.

One of my most recent things I was able to put a mark by was seeing "Earth, Wind & Fire" live in concert - and it was GREAT! Next up, I hope to visit New York City during the holidays.

The point of all this is, as the old saying goes, "Don't put off until tomorrow what you can do today." I don't know who first said it, but it sure makes sense.

So write down those things you would like to accomplish before it's too late. You may not get to it today, but hopefully someday.
