"I grew up slow on a farm in Bagley, Minnesota- population: 1,392. I spent my free time (pretty much all my time) running around outside and singing to my horses. I mostly taught myself to play guitar, and with the influence of Shania Twain and Taylor Swift, I began to write my own songs. At 15, I gained enough courage to start performing at talent shows, the county fairs, and weddings.
After I graduated high school, I went south to attend college in the much bigger city (not really) of Vermillion, South Dakota - population 10,000. I spent 5 years competing for the Coyote track & field team while getting my business degree. Still writing songs and finding time to perform here and there, my passion for music only grew. No matter where life takes me, I'll be chasing songwriter dream one lyric at a time..."
