Today is the last day of the 58th Annual Lions Club Pancake Days at the Sioux Falls Convention Center.

The first pancake days was in 1957. Originally know as Aunt Jemima Pancake Days.

Enjoy your All-You-Can-Eat Pancakes, Smokie Sausages, Coffee, Milk, Juice, & Ice Cream today until 8:pm.

Each spring, the Sioux Falls Downtown Lions Club serves over 15,000 people during a 2-day event.

During the 16 hour pancake feed, approximately 60,000 pancakes and 38,000 sausages are served.

Tickets are $5 in advance and $7 at the door.  Children six and under are free.  Tickets will be available at:  Lewis Drug, Hy Vee, Ace Hardware and Gustaf’s Greenery.

The proceeds from this event help aid the vision and hearing impaired and other charities in the community.

The public is invited to bring their old eyeglasses, hearing aids, and hearing aid batteries to be recycled and used by the needy.  Bring the whole family and start or continue a great family tradition!

Check out this video of Pat Gustaff (from "Gustaff's Greenery") as he schools Shawn Cable (from KSFY TV's Shawn & Nancy Morning Show) on the finer art of pancake flipping.
