Gov. Dennis Daugaard will be taking a stroll along Yankton's main street Wednesday in an effort to learn more about the city. It has also been named 'Honorary Capital for a Day'.

Yankton was Dakota Territory's first capital in 1861 - so this was probably due.

First Lady Linda Daugaard will read to children a the city library while Gov. Daugaard will also be present at a roundtable meeting before giving a speech to the community.
