This is probably a sign of the times. Everyone has tons of electronics that can be complicated to even use, let alone fix. Computers, cell phones, TVs, and home theaters require someone who gets how they work to fix or make them work in the first place.

Modern cars are more and more complicated to work on. They're full of computers and electronics. The parts are also more tightly packed into small spaces, or they require specialized tools to work on.

What would you rather have, the car guy or the computer guy?
