For two days in March a nostalgia fueled drinking experience popped up in San Fransisco. The organization Forward Motion created a temporary night-spot that was the fusion of a staple of childhood birthday parties and a staple of adult birthday parties; the ball-bit bar!

In the attempt to feel like a child again, Forward Motion crowed-sourced the purchases of 40,000 ball-pit balls by selling tickets to the event. Then they had a huge party.

Along with the balls and the drinks, the attendees played drinking games. "One of the bartenders tossed a small green plastic turtle into the ball pit and announced that if anyone found it, they would get a free shot," event founder Ryan Lum explained in an interview with Mashable.. "It was also hilarious to see everyone dancing the Macarena, singing the Backstreet Boys, having ball fights with the upstairs crowds, forming conga lines, and [playing] a limbo game."

Lum says they hope to do it again in San Fransisco. Would it be awesome if something like this happened in Sioux Falls?
