According to the City of Sioux Falls the renovation on the Siouxland Libraries’ Caille Branch is almost done. The major renovation began in July and crews are now finishing the interior.

The library, located at 4100 South Carnegie Circle near Sertoma Park, underwent a $1.2 million upgrade that included exterior work as well as a "complete interior remodel" to create "a more open environment." Among the interior additions will be a teen space, group study rooms, activity tables for the children's area and additional "interactive elements that promote learning."

The Caille Branch staff say that the new look library is "going to be great. Worth the wait."

A final open date will be announced later this year. A "formal ribbon cutting" will take place January 23, 2017 and the public is encouraged to attend.
