A Kent State kicker made history Saturday night in the team’s 45-13 over Delaware State. Senior April Goss became the second woman to score in major college football history Saturday against Delaware State, making her very first appearance after four years on the team to kick an extra point in the second quarter.

Goss made the kick with 4:30 left in the second quarter, giving the Golden Flashes a 29-6 lead. Katie Hnida was the first woman to score for an FBS program in 2003, kicking two extra points for New Mexico.
