Winter Weather Checklist: Be Prepared

You probably don't think of these things until it's too late!

And now that the first big winter weather system is to roll through our area, some of us will frantically be scrambling through boxes, storage containers and closets looking for anything that pertains to winter.

Especially for traveling.

Here's a good checklist:

• Shovel
• Flashlight
• First aid kit
• Non-perishable food, snacks
• Matches and a candle
• Warm clothing, blankets
• Jumper cables
• Battery operated radio
