When Thunder Roars, Go Indoors

Todd Heitkamp, Warning Coordinator with the Sioux Falls National Weather Service, says there's a chance the Sioux Empire could see some scattered thunderstorms tomorrow night - something to keep in mind if you plan on attending an outdoor fireworks display.

At this point, it doesn't appear that the storms will produce any severe weather  However, as Heitkamp points out,  just because the word "severe" isn't in the forecast doesn't mean you should let your guard down.
