Have you put gas in your vehicle in the last few days? The price is going up.

I filled my wife's car Sunday here in Sioux Falls. The price for 89 octane with 10% ethanol blend was $3.599 per gallon.

The average price for regular gasoline at U.S. pumps rose 4.9 cents in the past two weeks to $3.6065 a gallon, the highest since July 26, according to Lundberg Survey Inc.

I know it's typical for gas prices to rise as demand goes up like it does at this point of the year. But I always fear of economical impacts with higher gas.

Inflation has been under control, but since just about everything we buy comes in a truck, rising fuel prices will soon start pushing up prices in other areas of our life.
