Did the NFL get into bed with the devil in with the Adrian Peterson agreement? Did they set up a situation where they could allow a really unsavory character like Adrian Peterson back into the NFL solely on the premise he was going to be reinstated after his legal troubles were over?

There is no doubt Adrian Peterson will be reinstated by the NFL before the end of the season. But what should the Minnesota Vikings do?

If I was running the Minnesota Vikings, I would tell Adrian Peterson "we were fine without you, we'll be fine without you in the future. Your a 30+ year-old running back and you're a bad dude (and not in a Stephen A. Smith-Aaron Rodgers sort of way). You're not a good father, you're not a good person. We don't want you to be a part of our organization."
