What is the Best Route Through Sioux Falls?

I rode with Tasha the car the other day. To go from 41st and Minnesota she chose to skip I-229 and go all the way to 57th Street, then go the remaining 2 miles back to the radio station.

Perplexed as to why she took this route, I asked why she didn't get on the Interstate. Her answer was "What's the point of going fast for such a short distance."

To get there faster, perhaps? Google Maps said my route was the fastest.
