What I Learned This Weekend – Phone Cases Ruin Photos

This weekend I learned that your cell phone case is ruining your photos. Crystal and I were at the Zoo Boo on Friday night with the kids so there were a ton of photo opportunities. Every photo Crystal took had a pink hue to it. I joked that it was her cell phone case thinking it was just a setting.

Then when she took this photo of Jackie, Rockley and me with Darth Vader, Boba Fett and a Stormtrooper from Star Wars, I saw her case glowing around the flash. If you have a colored case around the camera lens and your photos have that color in them, it's probably your case.

This weekend I also learned, after seeing these sweet Star Wars costumes, that they are ridiculously (or perhaps justifiably) expensive! I Googled "authentic darth vader costume" and found one that was on sale for $893.99, marked down from $1147.99.
