Have your kids uttered the "b" word yet this summer? Never fear- -it's the Siouxland Libraries to the rescue, again! On Saturday, July 26th, put on your bat costume, fire up the Batmobile, (or your version of a superhero vehicle) and head downtown to the Main Library for Batman Day. Kids are invited to celebrate the Caped Crusader's 75th anniversary with a variety of events and activities throughout the day, including a super family storytime at 11 a.m. and an animated adventure at 2 p.m. For more information you can call Brian Borden at 367-8710.

Maybe you have a budding food critic on your hands, well this could be the perfect activity for them--The Great Pizza Challenge is going on that same Saturday, July 26th at the Oak View Branch Library, (3700 E. 3rd Street, off of north Bahnson Avenue). This foodie challenge is for tweens and teens. The library is providing the pizza, the kids just have to eat and review it. For more information call Nicole at 367-8060 or register here.

These are just two of the tremendous activities the Siouxland libraries have going on for kids and families this summer. For more info and a complete listing click here.
