The major winter storm battering parts of the Midwest and Northeast has impacted the University of South Dakota and South Dakota State basketball schedules.

The start time for Saturday's women's basketball game between the Coyotes and Cleveland State, originally scheduled for 2:00pm, has been pushed back to 6:30pm. The change allows Cleveland State extra time to travel to Vermillion through weather conditions that are making air travel difficult.

The women's game will follow the men's basketball game between USD and Iowa Wesleyan which will tip off at 4:15 p.m. Both contests will be held inside the DakotaDome.

Weather conditions in the Northeast have forced South Dakota State and Buffalo to indefinitely postpone the men's basketball game originally scheduled for Friday in Buffalo, N.Y.  The two teams continue to work on rescheduling the game for a later date.
