Fresh off a family vacation, we read the headlines of gas prices are getting ready to increase as summer comes to a close. The reasons? Demand, OPEC-something-or-other, supply, etc. In other words - they really don't know.

We've been enjoying gasoline prices at around $2.30 per gallon for some time now in South Dakota. We should feel thankful. We filled up at $3.60 per gallon California on Saturday travelling back home. Nevada at $3.39, Utah at $3.09, and Wyoming at $2.59.

We reached South Dakota two days later and filled up for $2.34 per gallon.

Nice to be home.
