Washington Driver Wins Huset’s [VIDEO]
Jason Solwold from Mt. Vernon, WA recently took over driving duties for the Buffalo Wild Wings #82 team. In just his 3rd race in the car, he earns a victory.
It came Sunday night at Huset’s after taking the lead from Chuck McGillivary on lap four. Solwold made a hard pass on McGillivary’s #101 sprinter on an inside move going into turn number three.
Solwold would stay out front unchallenged for the rest of the twenty five laps. He had a half lap lead over second place finisher Mark Dobmeier at the end. Dobmeier started ninth and Solwold had come from sixth.
Lynton Jeffrey finished in third, Terry McCarl fourth and Jody Rosenboom came across in fifth.
In the 360 sprints, it was the race of the night. Robbie Wolfgang won for the second consecutive time at Huset’s, and once again he did it on the final lap. But this time it was by inches at the finish line over Matt Juhl in the #09 car.
Looking at the top three finishers in the 360 feature, it was an awesome race. Wolfgang had come from ninth, Juhl from eighth and third place finisher Derrik Lusk from seventeenth.
Other winners on the night were Brandon Buysse in the micro sprints, Craig Hanisch in the street stocks, Miah Christensen for a second straight time in the b-mods and Dustin Gulbrandson in the hobby stocks. Complete results
