If you are the second one in bed to always fall asleep there's quick solution for that!

It rarely takes me more than a couple of minutes to turn my brain off and drift into a good nights sleep.  My wife however is just the opposite.  She hates me!

Here's something for you ceiling-watchers.  It's called the 4-7-8 Exercise.

Just breathe in slowly through your nose for four seconds, hold your breath for seven, breath out through your mouth for eight and then repeat it three more times.  The trick:  Press the tip of your tongue behind your top front teeth, and keep it there the entire time.  It's a yoga breathing trick.

Breathing in for four seconds helps you take in more oxygen.  Holding your breath gives it a little more time to absorb into your bloodstream and breathing out slowly for eight seconds slows your heart rate down.
