An early morning robbery featured an outnumbered victim near Downtown Sioux Falls. The incident occurred near 11th and Duluth.

Police Officer Sam Clemens says the man was taking a walk around 5:00 AM.

“There were five guys that came walking up to him. One of them said, ‘Give me your money.’ The second guy went through the victim’s pockets taking a wallet and cell phone. The other three guys just stood there. They didn’t say anything.”

Because the 46-year-old victim did not see any weapons displayed the police consider this a strong-arm robbery. No one was injured and the victim did not recognize who stole from him.

All five suspects are described as Native American with the two men who instigated the act being in their twenties. One of them is described as approximately 5-10, 190 pounds, the other about 5-6 weighing 170 pounds.
