In Houston, a waiter refused to help a group of customers that were rude to a child with Down Syndrome. Micheal Garcia is a waiter at Laurenzo's Restaurant in Houston, Texas where 5 year old Milo and his parents were eating.

On this day the people seated at the table next to Milo asked to be moved to a different table. OK, that happens, maybe there was a draft or the setting sun was in the tall guys eyes.

But no, as the people got up Micheal found out why they wanted to be moved. Here is what he told the Houston TV Station KPRC-TV:

"I heard the man say, 'Special needs children need to be special somewhere else," Garcia said.

Garcia said he then confronted the customer.

"My personal feelings took over and I told him, 'I'm not going to be able to serve you, sir,'" Garcia said. "He said, 'If you're not going to be able to serve us, then we'll leave.' Then I told him, 'How could you say that? How could you say that about a beautiful 5-year-old angel?'"

The commenter and his party left. Milo's mother Kim Castillo didn't know what had happened until another server told her later that evening. Castillo was worried that Garcia would get in trouble with his bosses, but the restaurant is standing behind him.
