BURNSVILLE, MN -- For the 10th year in a row, Concordia-St. Paul has been picked to win the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference volleyball title.

The Golden Bears have won six straight NCAA Division II National Championships, and received all 15 first place votes in the coaches poll.

Augustana was picked fifth in the NSIC.  Senior Holly Hafemeyer was listed by the conference as a player to watch for the Vikings in the 2013 season.  Hafemeyer was the seventh Viking to earn AVCA All-American honors last season, leading Augustana with 362 kills 92 total blocks and a .312 attack percentage.

The University of Sioux Falls was voted to finish 12th in the conference.  The Cougars player to watch is Alexa Reed.  The senior's 9.59 assists per set average in 2012 was eighth in the NSIC and ranked sixth on USF’s all-time single season charts.

Augustana opens the season September 6th at the Spring Hill Suites Invitational in Anchorage, Alaska.  Sioux Falls also opens September 6th in the Shark Classic in Florida.
