Augustana finished second and Sioux Falls third in the men's division of the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Indoor Track and Field Championships at Bemidji, Minn.

Minnesota State-Mankato won the men's title with 184 points.  The Vikings had 117 and the Cougars 86.5.

On the women's side, Minnesota-Duluth was first with 143 points.  Augustana was third with 91 and USF finished eighth with 51.3333 points.

The Vikings won three more conference championships on the final day of competition.  Augustana swept the men's and women's 800-meter runs, with Aduo Omot winning the men's race in record-breaking fashion. Omot led wire-to-wire and finished with a new NSIC Indoor Championship best time of 1:53.49. Kayla Mescher defended her 800-meter championship in 2:15.54.

Emma Anderson won the women's 1,000-meter run in 2:57.79

The Cougars' Bobby Brockmueller ran a 14:56.69 on his way to a first place finish in the men's 5,000-meter run.
